Erosion with Bill Nye, Soil and Earthworms

Earthworms are super important for healthy soil.  When they dig, they provide tunnels for air and water to enter the soil.  The tunnels also make it easier for plant roots to grow.  Here are two short videos on these soil friendly creatures.  The first one is informative.  The second one is just for fun.

Intersecting, Parallel, and Perpendicular

Are you ready for some new geometry vocabulary?  In today's math lesson, we'll learn about intersecting, parallel, and perpendicular line segments, rays, and lines.  Here's a short video to go with our lesson.
