Don't you just love Bill Nye?  I used to watch his show regularly as a kid.  Fortunately,  his shows are available online.  This one's about rocks and soil.





Here's a fun song that will help you remember how the different kinds of rocks are formed.



Endpoints, Lines, Rays, and Segments

We started our geometry unit today.  We learned about points, lines, rays, and segments.  We took notes in our vocabulary books, but you might want to watch the short video below as a review.  It doesn't go into as much depth into how we name lines, segments, and rays, but it's still helpful.
